PRAYER OF OFFERING OF THE HOUR OF GUARD

Lord Jesus, present in the Tabernacle, we offer you this Hour together with all our works, joys and sorrows to give glory to your Heart through this token of love and reparation.  May our offering benefit all our brothers and sisters and may it make of us instruments of your love.  In union with you, we also “consecrate ourselves for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth.

Heart of Jesus, my Savior and King, we offer you this Hour of Guard.  Together with the Patrons of the Hour chosen, we desire most particularly to love you, to glorify you and above all, to make reparation for the offenses you receive from people every day.  To this end, we ask that you accept our thoughts, words, works, joys and sufferings of this Hour.  Receive our hearts, which we give to you without reserve and consume it, we pray, in the fire of your love.  Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come!  Jesus, meek and humble of Heart, make our hearts like Thine.  Most Blessed Lady of the Sacred Heart, watch over the Guard of Honor.
