Only Love

“Only love can produce in us the desire to be conformed with our sovereign  Master.” The language of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque expressed in a letter  to Sister Marie-Bernarde Payelle, in July 1681. St. Margaret Mary made this  conformity very real in her choices: choosing Jesus instead of the world. St. Margaret Mary did this responding to a very clear vocation: a cloistered nun  of the Visitation Order. But one does not need to enter a cloister, or religious  life, to conform to Jesus; rather by, choosing Him each day, throughout the  day: being led by Truth, and moved by Love. St. Margaret Mary offered  herself totally to Jesus: without compromise. All or nothing. St. Margaret  Mary understood that the Mother of Jesus was the model of conformity  presented to us by Jesus at the Cross: “This is your Mother.” Mary’s heart is  united with the heart of Jesus. In this oneness of hearts there is the  conformity of human nature to the Cross of the Divine Master

Oh Divine Master, teach us how to love you!

Prayer to Renew Our Fidelity and Devotion 

Divine Jesus, my Saviour and my King, with all my heart I  renew the promise which I have made to love, to glorify and  to console Your adorable Heart as a member of the Guard  of Honor. Grant O good Master, to make me daily more  loving, more devoted and more faithful. I ask this same  grace for all the Associates through the most sweet Heart of  Your Mother. AMEN
